Brittany Pierce

Attorney

Personal Experience

Brittany S. Pierce is an attorney with Lively Law Firm, and her practice focuses on appeals and federal litigation. Specifically, Brittany specializes in immigration cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals and Federal Circuit Courts, criminal appeals, and other federal work at the district court level.

Brittany is also a national award-winning legal writer and deeply passionate about social justice issues. Her past publications have focused on issues involving women’s rights, sexual assault, and the prison mental healthcare system.

After graduating with honors and a pro bono service award from the Emory University School of Law, Brittany worked for two years as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She trained under highly regarded appellate lawyers and learned how federal appellate judges consider the cases before them. Brittany worked on several immigration, habeas, and criminal appeals during this experience, so she brings a unique and valuable perspective to each one of her cases.

Brittany understands the complexities involved in appellate litigation, particularly in the immigration context. She works hard to ensure that her clients receive the legal strategy that will best persuade judges of a particular interpretation of the law.
